Clinical Physician Assistants typically average $102,00 per year. Growth in this job is expected to be around 38% by 2024, which means job security. Duties of the job include examining and treating patients, prescribing medications, devising treatment plans, and assisting in diagnosing patients.

Fastest Growing Jobs Arkansas 

Many industries are projected to grow over the next few years in Arkansas. Among the top are jobs in the healthcare field to include physical therapy, nurse practitioner, and EMT. These are the jobs that will be secure in that they will be around a long time, and many pay well. 

Physical Therapy

Occupational therapist job opportunities are projected to grow over 130% creating over 5,000 new employment opportunities by 2024. This position entails working with injured and ill patients as well. Professionals in the field work with patients to support and improve their daily living skills like dressing, shopping, and working. Those in the field can expect to make between $56,000-$100,000 per year. 

Emergency Medical Transport (EMT)

EMT opportunities are will grow 125% within Arkansas by 2024. EMTs are responsible for responding to emergencies. They provide emergency transport of patients to medical facilities and often administer some medical care on-site or in transport as needed. They make between $27,000 and $43,000 annually.
