Many ATMs across the country will only give out 20-dollar bills. If you’re withdrawing a large sum of money, this can be pretty inconvenient. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to shove a huge stack of small-dollar bills into your wallet or purse. Instead of settling for a wad of twenties, we recommend going to an ATM that dispenses large dollar bills instead. If you need to make a big withdrawal soon and are wondering which ATMs give 100-dollar bills, read on to view our list of banks below.
Many Chase ATMs have a custom denomination feature, which allows you to choose what kind of bills you want dispensed. You can get denominations ranging from just 1 dollar up to 100 dollars. You can even get coins from select Chase ATMs, which really comes in handy if you need change to pay for parking. You’ll usually be able to withdraw between $500 and $3,000 from Chase ATMs depending on your account type, banking history, and available funds.
You’re most likely to find this custom denomination feature in machines inside of Chase bank branches. If you can’t find a Chase ATM that dispenses 100 dollar bills, however, you can go inside a branch and exchange your small dollar bills for a hundred. But you’ll usually need a valid photo ID, and there may be limits on how much money you can exchange, so keep that in mind.
Many PNC Bank ATMs also allow you to choose how many bills you want in certain denominations. Instead of only giving you twenties, these machines dispense bills ranging from 1 dollar all the way up to 100 dollars. This makes it easier to withdraw the exact amount of money you need.
Just like Chase, PNC Bank ATMs also have relatively high limits. You’ll be able to withdraw between $500 and $2,000 depending on your banking history and available funds.
PNC Bank ATMs also have lots of other useful features like card-free access for customers. You can request a one-time access code in the PNC Bank app and enter it on the ATM’s welcome screen to withdraw funds without your debit card. Another feature called Express Funds allows you to use money from an approved check you’ve just deposited right away, although you’ll have to pay a fee.
Bank of America
Bank of America also has ATMs that dispense 100 dollar bills. You can usually get cash in increments of $10, $20, and $100, which makes it easy to withdraw both large and small sums of money.
The maximum withdrawal amount at Bank of America ATMs is usually $1,000 depending on your available funds and account type. However, if you set up a withdrawal in advance using the Bank of America mobile app, your withdrawal limit will only be up to $800. Another thing to keep in mind is that the machines can only dispense a maximum of 60 bills at a time.
Which other ATMs give 100-dollar bills? Select Wells Fargo locations give out hundreds. You’re most likely to find a machine that doles out Benjamins inside Wells Fargo bank branches. In addition to hundreds, they usually give out bills in increments of $1, $5, and $20, which is convenient if you need a mix of small and large bills.
As for withdrawal limits, you’ll usually be able to take out $300 per day as long as you have enough funds.
