What Are Kroger’s Gas Station Hours?

July 7, 2022 by Tamila McDonald

kroger gas station hours

Whether you’re traveling across the country or running errands in town, heading to the Kroger gas station might be part of your plan. If so, you may be wondering, “What are Kroger’s gas station hours?” That’s particularly true if you might want an extra item – like a snack or drink – or need to pay for fuel in cash, both of which require an employee. If you’re curious about the Kroger gas station hours, here’s what you need to know.

What Are Kroger’s Gas Station Hours?

As with many gas station chains, the Kroger gas station hours can vary by location. However, most have a similar schedule, typically one close to the following:

  • Monday through Friday – 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • Saturday – 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • Sunday – 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

Usually, if anything deviates from the schedule above, it’s the closing time. Some Kroger gas stations may not have an employee available starting at 9:00 pm, while others may remain open until 11:00 pm.

On rare occasions, a Kroger gas station may actually be open 24 hours a day. However, this isn’t particularly common, so keep that in mind.

If you want to find out when your local Kroger gas station is open, it’s typically best to contact the store directly. You can also use the Store Locator feature to get more information.

Can You Pay at the Pump 24/7 at Kroger’s Gas Station?

Yes, paying at the pump is an option at a Kroger gas station any time, day or night, regardless of whether an employee is on-site. This means you can usually fill up as long as you have a debit or credit card available to complete the purchase. In that case, assistance from an employee isn’t necessary, as the pump can essentially process the transaction on its own.

The only exception to the 24/7 availability usually involves pump malfunctions. As with all technology, issues and errors can occur with gas station pumps, making them incapable of processing transactions. In that case, a technical error could cause the pumps to become unavailable. However, it’s typically quite rare for an issue to impact all pumps simultaneously.

Additionally, when paying at the pump, you can take advantage of the fuel points program. Simply use your shoppers card when prompted by the pump, and you can apply any fuel points credits to secure discounts.

Do you take advantage of the Kroger gas station? If so, do you think the Kroger gas station hours are reasonable? Do you wish they were open longer, or does pay-at-the-pump make that unnecessary? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
