Ways to Reuse Silica Gel Packs

When most people come across silica gel packs, their automatic reaction is to throw them away. This shouldn’t be surprising since this is exactly what the packs instruct the person that finds them to do. They all warn, “Do Not Eat!” and instruct, “Throw Away.” While you should definitely follow the “do not eat” directions, you might want to consider ignoring the “throw away” instruction. Silica gel packs can be used for a variety of other purposes which can make them valuable to keep around.
