The other day I went cruising on my Kindle. Started out in one topic and before I knew it I was on another topic and the topic was making money on line. Something to consider. If you have a Kindle, search for making money or money on line. You will be shown at least 4 pages worth of suggestions, most that you can download samples of the books, plus you will also get suggestions for even more books that if you follow that suggestion you will get another 4 pages of books that you can download even more samples. So before you know it you could have 20 book samples of how to make money on line. Just reading the samples will give you lots of ideas and you can also evaluate if you think the book has useful ideas for you and whether or not you want to chip in to buy it. An ebook has to be purchased, but a 'real' book can be requested at your library to read the whole thing. I was really surprised by the info I got just reading different book samples and I think I'm turning into a 'sample junkie.' But just reading a few of the samples of the books gave me some great ideas for promoting my on line store.

It's not rare now a days. People are doing this kind of online jobs and earning their livelihood. You may do some article writing stuffs, blog postings, forum postings etc.

First and for most,if you want to make money online you have to consider that its not that easy. There are so much to consider. Patience and Interest are what you need to start and proceed with the process. You need to have your goals and plans, it's very important.
Mavycharm, you are so right about that! I have a goal of bringing in $100/day from our on line store consistently. We make it some days (and may go way over), yet we don't do it consistently enough as some days there are no sales at all, so I plan and set goals and find ways to promote our store to get to that point.

In the meantime, I also have a few of those

Although not the forum postings. I post on forums when I feel like I have something to contribute. Not to say the same lame stuff hoping someone will click on a link and I'll earn a penny. What I'm saying, other than my store, if I currently was depending on all these others ways of making money, a years worth of doing that, will barely make me grocery money for one week if that much. I have heard others make lots more, but we all have limited amounts of time and energy and what you spend the most energy on, will/should give the best profit. I'm also hoping to write a ebook for quilters so that will also take time away from other 'pgrograms' and I don't mind as the income potential for the book is so much higher especially for residual income for years after. That is where the goals and planning come in.

There are a lot of ways to make money online. If you are good at writing, visual effects or photo modification it gets easier. There is also translation and transcription. However, you will need to build the right network and contacts so that work keeps flowing in.

I totally agree with you dear that if you are not specialist or have expereince then you can't do it.
That isn't really true. How I make money on line is nothing that I ever trained for, especially considering there were no personal computers when I was in school and college! I'm over the hill at this point But I have learned what I needed to do to make money and what I do fits in very well with my particular interests. I have however spent much time researching and learning many different tasks that I need to know to have our work on line make a profit.

It is always interesting what some peoples opinion are about things and how dogmatic they can me. On another forum a few years back, I had mentioned that I wanted to get to the point of having 10,000 listings on line by the end of the year. Someone misunderstood and asked if I meant I wanted to EARN $10,000 by the end of the year. Another poster jumped in immediately and said there was NO WAY a person could earn that much selling what I do. I didn't bother enlightening her to the truth of the matter.

I guess this is one of the reasons I find it curious that when people want to know how to make money on line everyone trots out the same old ways to do it, but rarely do you hear their own experience, whether good or bad on how something worked. I used to sell books as well as what we sell now, but we got to a point that physically I was having trouble scouting out new supplies of books to sell, and handling books and packaging them up hurt my arthritic hands, add those to the fact that lots of people had gotten on the bandwagon of anyone can sell books on line and were pricing them for less than a dollar, it wasn't worth it to me to keep selling books with prices continuing their slide downhill, so I quit that and focused more heavily in the sewing aspects of my business, both in my blog, in any affiliate program I go with and what I actually sell on line. As my health is crashing even more, I am also looking for more ways to make money that will have a residual income over the years. In other words, I plan and set goals and continue to research to keep ahead of the game instead of behind it.

Whether you make money on line or off, you always need to be looking ahead. If you are currently punching a time clock and hate it, what are you doing to get away from that? Have you taken a class, figured out if there is a way to go higher in your work via promotions if you had the right skills, or if you want to make money on line, there are so many free helps to learning things that can help you to not have a large outlay of cash at the beginning. Always keep your thinking cap on and LOOK for the opportunities. I sell what I do because I kept reading letters to the editor in my sewing magazine of women complaining that they couldn’t access the patterns that the latest issue had just featured. I saw a problem and decided to fill it. I don’t give what I do as a way to brag, but hope that my experiences and words can help someone think through what they want to do and can themselves become successful making money on line as well.

There are many ways to make a living on the Internet. It is best you chose something which is within your own interests, because often it takes some years before a website really takes off, and in the period until that happens you have to put a lot of time and effort in it to make that happen.

If you know a lot about a certain subject, you could start a content site focused about that subject and monetize it with advertising like AdSense. If in real life you like trading and interaction with people, a webshop may be a better choice for you. And if you are good in algorithms and development, writing the next generation search engine might be the ultimate goal.

It all depends on your skills and interests. The main thing is that you chose a direction with which you feel comfortable to do a few years of work without much revenue.

Making a living online is a topic that is researched over half a million times a month, globally. There are (as of today) over 69 million websites optimized for that phrase or a variable of it.

People are still searching for the quick and easy buck. The bottom line is, the way to attain wealth quickly is by inheritance or winning the lottery. That leaves a lot of us out in the cold.

It takes work and time to make money online. If you want overnight success, this route isn't for you.

Have you tried blogging? That seems to be the rage nowadays, though I'm sure you have to put a lot of work and time into getting your blog off the ground.

Blogs are a rage these days, BUT NOT for making a living on line with them. They are a good place to practice writing skills and getting familiar with and helping to educate others on your topic of choice. Don't start a blog just because you think you will be able to make money with them as it most likely won't happen!

Blogging is an great idea and the requirement is also increasing. The best thing about blogging or freelance writing is you don't require special training just a passion for writing and reading can raise you up.

There is a huge difference between making money online and making a living online. I think a lot of people do the former while very few are able to accomplish the latter. Making a full time income online is really difficult to do unless you have some special skill and are willing to put in huge amounts of hours. I wouldn't be quitting your day job in the hopes of making your living online.

So exactly right! I've been trying to say this and then someone says 'oh you can make money with a blog, etc.'. Has the person who posted that made money with a blog? Seriously doubt it. I've made money with my blog, maybe a $1 a month but that isn't why I have one. You may hear of some that make a full time living on line, but they are most likely the minority. Even if you make some decent money on line, $1000+ a month, that will rarely keep a family or even one person going for the whole month.

There is nothing easy or quick about making a living on line, although there are lots of ways to make the occasional dollar or so.

Depends on your expertise. I freelanced for a few years and supported myself 100% online, but keep in mind it was no different than working a full-time job, just from home. I did work, and got paid per client. (I'm a web developer).

People can make incomes online by blogging, freelancing with writing/designing/coding/consulting/etc., having an online shop, selling on shops like Etsy, Amazon, eBay, etc. There's countless ways to make a living online in this day and age, but you have to remember it's not some magic be-all end-all. It's a business that takes hard work and dedication, just like a brick and mortar business.
