Blogging, web-content, academic essays, surveys, online research etc... These are the most common ways on how you can get extra bucks legit. Be very careful though in finding online jobs. Make sure you as the jobseeker would not be scammed. Take time to look around and check. Good luck.

I'm not sure if this really works as I never try it before, but a friend I know mention to me. He would look on craigslist and look for free items. Anything good he would pick it up and hold a garage sales on the weekend.

There are some really great suggestions here! To add another to the list, if you're not afraid of needles you could always donate your plasma! There are some rules and what not but once you get into the process it only takes around an hour and the money is pretty good! I know where I'm from if I go the full two times a week I earn $60! Plus it's a really good cause.

There are so many ways out there to make money online so I have been rather cautious but there are a few places I have used:
National Consumer Panel (very limited) - scan items that you buy and get money
Swagbucks - save up points from searching for gift cards
Viewpoints - often have gift card deals for writing product reviews
So many survey places! Many of which are legitimate but always search for reviews before using. I use Epoll as it only sends surveys occasionally so I don't get overloaded.
Many websites that have a point system often have ways to get points from shopping online so lookout for that.

By far, take an entrepreneurship class at a local business school. It'll be your best investment and you'll really come out of it with fresh ideas on how to make money. I also enjoy reading articles on entrepreneur.com as it has a variety of ideas on how to get started.

Agreed, there are many ways to earn online, there are also many ways to lose so please be careful and be sure to look very closely at anything that interests you.

I can not tell ways to make extra money. But, I can tell one way to make money is farming/agriculture(growing everyday necessary food items). As america has vast land, farming is the best thing to do in bad times and good times. If there is a good planning and willingness to work hard combined with the knowledge on farming and finance(how much of your money and others' money to put in agriculter at the beginnning), it is better than doing any other business. I think farming/agriculture is best because people need it at least 2 times to 3 times everyday. If a product or service of business is essential to consumers, you can easily earn money. You may earn very good return on money more than any return you get doing any other business. Of course, i never did farming. But, somebody told me. With vast land in america, you can even export the food to brazil, russia, china , africa, asia and india in future!!! Think about it.

We have a small farm where we grow grass-fed, hormone free, free-ranged, antibiotic free meat that we not only consume ourselves (saves us on groceries, too), and we sell our chickens, eggs, lamb, pork to our family and friends. We plan on having cattle next year, too. This has made us a few extra dollars, plus allows us to get our acerage rezoned from residential to agricultural, which will reduce our taxes a few hundred dollars a year, too.

This is an awesome idea. My spouse used to do this in garage sales we had. This wasn't intentional, it was just a lot of fun. People loved it! Seemed people got more of a good feeling w/ things that had a story behind them!
