I don't think tesla has free charging

Tough call. Used 2022 $31k versus new $42k or leasing which I agree is a better deal right now on the tesla

We weren't tied to Tesla when we were looking for an EV. We also heavily considered models from Polestar and Volvo. I believe both are offering something similar to the $299/month lease deals on a Tesla.

We also didn't purchase (lease) an EV with the goal of saving money, though. I still think there's an element of "wanting" to own and live with an EV.

There are also a lot of good used EV's on the market. If you're set on Tesla, Model 3's are bargain basements. <30k miles from Hertz car sales, you can pick up a 1 year old Model 3 for less than $30k.
      History will judge the complicit.

We are looking at the FSD need that for DH. It's a tesla or we're going with a non-electric he said. I would like used mostly because I want to get another car and hand that off to DK1
