  • Don't even know wehere to start

Hey guys. I'm 28 years old and still I don't have a job. I'm still living in my mom's house, am single (not even a GF). Can't concentrate on anything and I'm always looking for entertainment/escapism.

Total amount of money: 33,000$ Inheritance money, invested in real estate
Skills and expertise: Basic acknowledge of graphic design, Basic acknowledge of Web design
    Interested in: Construction work

Now I'm totally confused and don't know how to and what to prioritize. My sexual life is crippled because I don't have my own place, no car either. Should I sell the real estate and get a car, rent a flat and invest the rest somewhere else?

Also my understanding and views of economics and money is pretty limited. My long term goal is to immigrate to Czechoslovakia to study and hopefully settle there. Can you folks help me prioritize my tasks and design a step by step plan? Thanks

What you need is a job.
Something to get you up in the morning and out of the house for 8, 10, 12 hours every day. This will also get you some forced interaction with people which will be good for you. I would recommend something requiring physical labor to make you appreciate what it takes to earn a dollar. You will feel good at the end of a day of hard work. You mention construction. Tons of entry level laborer jobs in this area, and you will be able to work your way up the ranks in responsibility and pay if you are reliable, smart and work hard.

You will need a car with insurance to get back & forth to work, probably some work clothing and maybe some tools, so if that means selling the real estate or taking a small loan against it, do it.

Set your alarm clock tomorrow morning and make "getting a job" your job from 7AM to 4PM, and stay at it every day until you are employed. Check the newspaper adds, local facebook job boards, craigslist, career builder, etc. Don't be afraid to get out physically and walk in places asking for employment.

I guarantee you a steady job and income stream will up your self esteem very quickly, and things like a social life, girlfriends, etc. will fall in place behind that.

I agree with the above post. You need to start a habit of looking for a job. Looking for a job once in a while will not cut it. The longer you wait to get a job the harder it will be to get one. In an employers eye's working at McDonalds as your current job compared to nothing is a big difference and you appear more hireable.

Once you get an interview, make sure you follow up with the interviewer. Do not wait for them to call you back, you have to make it known that you want the job. It will show that you are motivated and want to work the company.

I'm not sure how prevalent the buses are where you live but if you could take the bus to work instead of getting rid of the 33K inheritance. Another option to be to car pool with someone. This would save you money while you save up for a car.

What is the economy like in your community? Do you have certification and served internship in Graphic Design and Web Design or are you self taught based on your interest in that linked area? What assistance does your school offer?
If you would like to be in construction what have you done to get an apprenticeship?
I suggest learning about the Czech Republic split from Slovakia. What drives that plan?

Do you have a problem with securing employment, or do you have a problem with self motivation and work ethic?

Start by finding a job. Any job. Just start making money. Then, look into some formal schooling in a marketable area of the economy.

Self motivation. The amount of affordable income is not enough fro me to "achieve my dreams". Any job would help me to deal with the basics, food bills etc.
