    Signed up for an Amazon credit card and got a $70 gift card.

    Hate to say it but many of the no fee, cash reward credit cards are a better deal. Although I may charge more than you, I easily get a $1,000. back each year in cash. Every company in the world offers a credit card with a gimmick but you really need to look which card is a better deal for you. I don't know anything about Amazon's card, I'm just saying there's a lot to look at before signing for a credit card.

        I use my Delta Sky Miles card for 99% of my monthly expenses to rack up the miles. I just signed up for the Amazon card to get the $70. I put it towards 2 new batteries for my cordless tools. Now it's of no use to me.

        Discover just sent me a note saying that if I charge $1000, they will give me $75. I'll have to take advantage of that, too.
