I bought a PPD bag on ebay and was told it was NEW WITHOUT TAGS! I got it today and it wasn't even close. NOW the seller is trying to not return my money because she says "it was never used, it was a gift!" As if I have photos showing the wear of the bag! OMG, there is dirt all over the bag. It is in terrible condition.

Also the ebay seller says no refunds. Then why lie about the condition? Ugh. I cannot stand this. I am on the phone on hold with ebay. I already made a claim on paypal.

Thank god I only use CC to pay for things. But I have to make a claim on my CC next. Ugh.

    Why are people such jerks?

I was just telling someone that I have really cautious/negative feelings about buying on ebay any more. I've been taken on ebay and so has my DH.

What's a PPD bag? I just phoned in the results of a PPD tuberculosis test to my doctor, but somehow I think you are talking about a purse, a backpack, a diaper bag, or ???

I don't know what that was either (purse???), but I'd document all the emails/messages on Ebay, and send one more message letting them know you'll dispute the charges with Ebay, Paypal, and your CC company. In the past, if that happened to me, I'd open those disputes immediately if they don't respond. Another advantage of paying with a CC online. Plus Ebay is more sympathetic to a buyer, so if you have all your documents explaining you've been trying to work out a solution, and if seller is not helping you, better odds resolving faster in your favor.

Yep, it's just a PIA to deal with them.
