It does not bother me as far as jealousy b/c I would not want the hassle. I do not need that kind of luxury.
When I see people spending $600 on shoes etc, I just would rather donate the money to charity. How many hungry animals in the pound would that feed etc or needy kids in a home could go see a ball game?

Ok, this has always bothered me. I am sorry if I am not sensitive enough, but if I didn't have enough money for shoes, or was from a country where people typically go barefoot and my feet were extra sensitive and needed protection, I would find something to go on the bottom of my feet and something to tie around them so that they were protected.

Please don't flame. It is just that every time I hear someone mention that, I think "maybe they don't want to wear shoes?!?"

Some people just have too much money! But other than that, I do not feel any envy when others have financial success. I see life success and purpose of life are two separate things.

So long as they didnt steal what they have or come to it illegally, it should be theirs and theirs alone.

Hopefully they do donate money to charitys, probably tens of thousands of dollars a year. But if they dont, its still theirs to do with as they please.

No, I think you should re read my post. I am in no way jealous of rich people and I would not want that lifestyle. You are way off base.

              I'm not a hater. I'm a congratulater.

More power to those who have earned a lot of money. As long as they aren't putting their families in financial jeopardy, let them spend their money on whatever that please. Their extravagances are not harming you or anyone else.

Can you define "too much money"?

To the original question: If they can afford it, congratulations! If they actually paid cash for it or have paid it off, HIGH FIVE!!

I don't begrudge the super rich for their mansions or anything they own. They are keeping companies and people employed by spending the money they have/make. And, on top of that, think about that huge tax bill they had today. They are paying the majority of the taxes so why should anyone care. Good for them and let them do what they want.

That house was built to prove that Aaron Spelling was the biggest **** on the walk. That's what those kind of homes are all about.

More power to him. It would have been better karma for him to keep that money in his production company and create more jobs, but that was his decision to make.

Hate to have that property tax bill though - bet it's substantial.
