Wow, that is very funny. Yes, it would be great if it was one of the cards with the photo on it!! You would think that with finance companies having to be more responsible with who they make credit available to at the moment they may have better checks in place. Did they ask for his signature?

My dog has a credit card too. I don't trust her as much as you must trust your dog. I only allowed her to be an authorized user! Hey, the CC issuer wanted to pay me $5 to add a user, so why not. My husband nearly DIED when he saw the card with her name on it! Seriously, you can add anyone as an authorized user! I suspect DH now wants an alternate identity....

OH!! I KNOW!! Okay, here's the plan. First, she needs to get a personal loan. Somewhere around $50k. She makes less-than-minimum payments on that from the loan money itself. Then, she should buy a home, get an interest-only loan (i mean, she's gotta be guaranteed a loan! it's the american dream!), make the interest payments with the personal loan, then in a few months sell the property at a HUGE profit, paying off both the mortgage and the personal loan. In the end, she'll likely walk off with about $50k-$100k. That can buy a whole lot of kibble.... Not bad for a couple loans, a few months, and no work whatsoever. Now THERE'S the American dream!
So what do you think? Flawless plan, right? I mean, it's simple economics, anybody knows that!
