This doesn't necessarily affect most people .... but with his legendary status as a master of skillful investment (not to mention the reach of Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio), it's noteworthy that Warren Buffet has announced his upcoming retirement as its CEO but the end of this year. He's 94y/o with~60 years running the company, and has been training up his successor (Greg Abel) for most of the last decade. Yet to be seen of course how the management of the company & its impressive investment strategy will change ... I've got a few shares of the BRK stock, though with all of its subsidiary companies, it's almost as like having a mutual fund.
