    I think the general expectation has been one or two more 0.25% increases. Inflation has definitely eased but the labor market remains super tight and spending remains high. Retail sales came in ahead of expectations last month. It’s a very interesting economic environment. Certainly not following the usual patterns.

      This is great news for savers; not so great for borrowers. Heck the Vanguard settlement fund is paying 5.26%. You don’t even need to invest your cash to get a nice return with full liquidity.

        Hope we don't see any more rate hikes.
        Really goofy situation we're in right now. You can get 5% on short term money 6-12 months, but less for longer 3-5 year terms due to uncertainty on what is going to happen with rates.

            Still almost 2 points lower than what we paid when we bought out house in 1994.
