If you participated in the Ally bonus promotion a couple of months ago, you probably got an email today letting you know that the bonus payout would be showing up in your account on or about February 5. I'm getting $31 myself. I don't remember the exact details but I know I learned about it from this site so thank you to whoever posted that info. I never would have know otherwise. Nothing wrong with getting $31 completely free just for putting some money in an account I already use regularly.

Same story here. I'm apparently in line for $146, as I made a quick move to consolidate some funds into my existing Ally accounts when I heard about the promotion from the mystery poster here on the boards. Sweet deal!
My only question: How did they pick which account they're going to deposit the bonus into? They're putting it into my home account, which is the least active (of 4) accounts that I have with them. ..... Just thought it was weird.

* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

$1,000. coming my way, nothing like free money. This is the second large bonus I've gotten recently. A year or two back I got $500. for opening up a CapitalOne360 account. Pay's to keep your eyes open and watch various financial forums.

I'm getting $152. This will be the first time in several years that I will have to use a 1099-INT for savings account interest.
Scratch that. I forgot about the Capital One account since I have it on "set and forget" and I actually forgot about it! Lol. So I guess I will be using the 1099-INT for 2018, too.Last edited by msomnipotent; 01-17-2019, 12:23 PM.

easy $1000. I guess I'm keeping ally and talking with DH. It's crazy capital one is still 2% and ally is up to 2.2%. I am thinking of sending more money to ally.Last edited by LivingAlmostLarge; 02-06-2019, 03:02 PM.
