Hope this helps
Rizzmo,
Money is received by individuals, not 14 Eagles per se. The name 14 Eagles is just that, a name; a name to identify a group of people that assemble together, or a community of people. Why is that important? Words are very important here because you could be subject to some legal hot water if you were receiving monies from an entity, or a single company. You are not in this case; only from individuals you choose to join with. And even then, you are not exempt from any tax income laws. Just to clarify, this isn't income though; they are gifts and as such, they do apply to the gifting-specific tax laws, which states that after you receive (or give) over a specified amt., per individual, per calendar year, your gift taxes then accrue and become due. I am no tax expert though. I just know that this is what the IRS Tax Code provides us. Your tax adviser is the person you want to consult with on the issue to be double sure that you are in good standing. I hope that helps clarify that a little bit.

Mr. Disney Steve,
I was really interested in what "Gifting Believer" had to say, as I am trying to learn for myself what this community is about. Why did you ban her? For calling names? I don't think he/she was 'name-calling' just because she thought some people on here are ignorant. If you ban him/her, why don't you then ban jpg7n16 also? He is saying that he/she ignorant just as well. I am really trying to get both sides of the issue, and I'm just wondering why are you trying to silence one side? I am really trying to know for myself if joining this community is the best thing to do and would like to hear all sides.

Wow, leave for a day and all hell breaks loose. From what I understand, Gifting Believer was banned for making things personal - a big no-no in these forums. You are free to express any opinion you have about the subject being discussed, but every member must be respectful to the other members when arguing. Name calling and insults are not allowed. Gifting Believer is welcome to come back if he promises to stick to the topic and not make personal attacks. He can email me at info@savingadvice.com and I will reinstate his account.

I actually haven't. I have said that comments GB said were idiotic (because I feel the comments were), but the ignorant thing was just a play on GBs post (which is no longer available for reference).Originally posted by Shante View PostIf you ban him/her, why don't you then ban jpg7n16 also? Since he wrote that BA and myself were ignorant (without knowledge) to speak on this 14 Eagles issue, I wrote back with some questions we have been asking that clearly show 14 Eagles is a pyramid scheme - and therefore an illegal scam. If GB is unable to answer those questions (which we have been asking this whole time) - then they are guilty of the very thing they are accusing us of: being without knowledge. That's where my statement came from.
Sadly, the posts were not about a side of the argument (no matter what GB claims). They were about putting down BA and myself for our "ignorance" of how 14 Eagles works. There were never any arguments made by GB about why 14 Eagles "works" or how it isn't illegal. They were only insulting comments against us. And about Obama. (Yeah- I don't know how he came up either)I am really trying to get both sides of the issue, and I'm just wondering why are you trying to silence one side? I am really trying to know for myself if joining this community is the best thing to do and would like to hear all sides.

I personally found it all humorous, and would have liked to see some of them back.

The %$#! mods they were keeping me silent this whole time.
I thought the purpose of the forum was to discuss ideas, ask questions and provide answers and opinions (is IMO needed when you post on internet forums?).
I find this whole thread one sides times 2.
There is a side which is asking questions and not getting answers (that is one sided)
and there is a side which is claiming "why are you persecuting us".
Funny if one side answers the questions, they will probably persecute themselves.
Thanks all for the entertainment. If we are discussing pyramid schemes, can I mention social security?

Exactly why there were deleted. If anyone would like to come here and discuss the details of how the 14 eagles system operates, how much money they've made, how long they've been involved, how many friends they've gotten involved and how much those people have made, etc., that would be interesting to read. Just coming on and posting that it is a great system and anybody who thinks otherwise is ignorant, however, isn't a post worth reading and will not be left up on the board for long (unless I get really busy at workOriginally posted by jpg7n16 View PostSadly, the posts were not about a side of the argument

The tax is only assessed on the giver - not the recipient. You are allowed to give $13k to anyone you wish per year, gift tax free. (There is no income tax on a gift received. Think about it - when the last time you included your Christmas gifts on your taxes?)Originally posted by Gifting Lover View PostRizzmo,

A single recipient can receive gifts from multiple donors, for instance I could recieve gifts from my dad, mom, aunt and uncle - all for $13k each and no one would have to pay any gift tax.
The problem with the 14 Eagles system is they try and get you to focus on whether or not you'll have to claim these gifts as income, and so divert attention away from the real question - "is this gifting system legal?" (No. It isn't.)
So while it is true that gifts are not subject to income taxation, it is also true that such pyramid schemes are illegal. Reasons for their illegality can be found here:
"PYRAMID SCHEMES"
Federal Bureau of Investigation - Common Fraud Schemes
Pyramid scheme - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'd suggest that you read up on pyramid schemes from some of the links above - then evaluate 14 Eagles for yourself.

jpg7n16,
You are just simply incorrect about your statement there that the 14 Eagles "trys" to divert you a certain way w/ respect to tax dues...actually I don't know if I can even respond to what your saying because I'm not entirely sure I even understand the point your making. You did repeat what I just said so it's good to see you know your facts.
Pyramid Scheme? Sorry sir, you just don't know what your talking about there sir.

Shante would certainly be interested in what Gifting Believer had to say because they are the exact same person -- along with Gifting Lover (all the same ip address). Making multiple accounts and pretending to be different people is most definitely not acceptable so the ip address has been banned. I am more than happy to allow a single account if he wants to stay on topic and not throw personal insults -- he can contact me through email if he can agree to these terms.

I see Jeffrey got to this before me but I still wanted to address this particular statement. Not that I need to defend my actions, but just for the sake of transparency, I did not delete the posts to block people from learning more information. I deleted the posts because they were little more than personal attacks and name calling. The administrator, Mr. “Disney Steve”, keeps removing my posts because they don't want you, a person trying to learn more information about this great community, to get the real facts.Steve

My point is: while you are debating in your mind about whether or not you'll be subject to income tax on all this money you expect to be making, you aren't thinking - well is it legal in the 1st place?Originally posted by Gifting Lover View Postjpg7n16,

If I can get you to focus on "are these gifts subject to income tax?" and come to the correct conclusion that they are not subject to taxation - your mind will go "oh okay, it must be legit then." But that conclusion is shortsighted, since it ignores whether or not the structure itself is legal or not.
The no tax part is correct. But the question remains, is this "gifting" program legal or not? (regardless of the tax implications of all the money transfers)
Then please correct me. Don't just say "no it's not." See my 10 questions above, answer them, and tell us how 14 Eagles is not a pyramid scheme.Pyramid Scheme? Sorry sir, you just don't know what your talking about there sir.
See this link: "PYRAMID SCHEMES" specifically section 3 "how pyramids schemes operate"
For 14 Eagles:
Don't you recruit people beneath you, who recruit people beneath them?
Don't these "gifts" flow upward to someone above you into the organization?
Don't you expect to receive similar "gifts" from people below you?
Is your income/"harvest" potential directly related to how many people you get to participate beneath you, or is it not?
Is there or is there not a matrix "payout" structure? (similar to shown below and in the FTC link above)
Isn't your ability to recieve up to 14 gifts directly related to the ability of people beneath you to recruit more people?
Is this structure sustainable for everyone who participates to show a profit?
From the 14eagles website: New Page 1
From a site advertising how 14 Eagles works: How it Works
I get 2 and they get 2 and they get 2:

See that pyramid start to form? That's where "pyramid" schemes got their name!
So please, inform us. I've given you my evidence, now you give me your's.

14 eagles from an Insider
Let me say this. I got sucked willingly into 14 eagles. It is a pyrmid scheme. Many people will eventually be hurt by this. The country bumpkin who has dreamed all this up calls himself "Eagle1" talk about egos. He claims to be this wonderful Christain man who is helping so many because "it's better to give than recieve", what he doesn't tell you is how much he has Recieved..lol Now he has plans to take this thing Globally. Paypal will no longer allow them to use thier site, because it is a scam. I do know they are being investigated. What is so funny is this man works so hard to get Videos taken off You tube and others to not make websites to promote it because he says "We don't do mass marketing, it's by invitation only". what that really should tell you, is he wants you to be very careful about who you invite because he doesn't want the federal trade commission or the IRS taking his ass off to the federal Pen. He's a Pill poping scam artist plan and simple. You want a sample of his retorict?
Here is one of his BIG speaches, Let him come down off his Nest, sprout wings and slience me..
To hear the recording dial 712-432-1085 pin 577342.
Also we will have a training call Thursday night at 9pm (EST). You can attend this call this call by dialing 712-432-0075 pin 577342.
Pass this information on to all those you know that are members of the "14 Eagles" that may not have attended the conference call.
We know how much the "14 Eagles" means to so many thousands of people and we are determined to make this activity a vehicle to changes lives all across this great country and beyond.
As if they is not enough proof for you check out his website, and find his telephone number. You won't, you also won't find his name or his location. That's ok though because several departments of law enforcement have now joined up with the 14 eagles. The end is near. Even in one of his emails he taughts people with "if your not Paying someone, see ya later". Tell everyone you know about this man.

This is from thier own page. Even thier own Diagram looks like a pyramid.
Cash Gifting -- How it Works
You decide that you would love to unconditionally bless 3 people with a cash gift, and to share the
14 Eagles Cash Gifting Program with people you know and love that are of like-mind and heart!
Each time you gift 3 others, the tracking system will share your name to those on your team (Eagle’s Nest) so they can bless you with a cash gift.
Your Eagle’s Nest consists of 14 people maximum. Using a 2 by 3 team structure to place people into -- you invite 2 who each invite two --- and as everyone continues to invite only 2 who joins our gifting community, yours and their Eagles’ Nest would look like this:
The following 6 steps lays out how our cash gifting
program works, beginning with your first $6.00 gift.
Step 1: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $2 gift to the 3 people whose names you’ve been presented within your Eagle’s Den.
Total $6
Ø You are now positioned to potentially receive up to 14 gifts of $2 each. ($2 x 14 = $28)
Ø Keep $7 as your harvest. (Hold $21 back to be able to gift forward onto Step 2)
Step 2: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $7 gift to each of the 3 people presented to you for Step 2. Total $21
Ø You are now positioned to potentially receive up to 14 gifts of $7 each. ($7 x 14 = $98)
Ø Keep $8 as your harvest. (Hold $90 back to gift forward onto Step 3)
Step 3: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $30 gift to each of the 3 names presented to you. Total $90
Ø You now have the potential to receive up to 14 gifts of $30 each. ($30 x 14 = $420)
Ø Keep $120 as your harvest. (Hold $300 back for Step 4)
Step 4: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $100 gift to each of the 3 names presented to you. Total $300
Ø You now have the potential to receive up to 14 gifts of $100 each. ($100 x 14 = $1400)
Ø Keep $800 as your harvest. (Hold $600 for Step 5)
Step 5: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $200 gift to each of the 3 names presented to you. Total $600
Ø You now have the potential to receive up to 14 gifts of $200 each ($200 x 14 = $2800)
Ø Keep $2,050 as your harvest. (Hold $750 for Step 6)
Step 6: You’re invited to freely:
Ø Send a $250 gift to each of the 3 names presented to you. Total $750.
Ø You now have the potential to receive up to 14 gifts of $250 each. ($250 x 14 = $3500)
Ø Keep $2,750 as your harvest. (Hold $750 for repeating Step 6)
Repeat Step 6 at least once a week thereafter as long as you would like to give and be a participant. By repeating Step 6 weekly, you would harvest $2750 each time / $11,000 monthly.
NOTE: 14 Eagles allows you to fly and gather your flock at your own speed --- fast or slow. HOWEVER, be aware that you will have EAGLES in your flock ready to fly higher and faster --- so your choice to quickly move up a level as soon as you have gifted your (3) on each level will assure your flock will always follow you level after level all the way up to the HIGHEST ALTITUDE --- Level 6.
If you chose to gather your flock more slowly, have NO FEAR. Your flock will re-join you once you reach Level 6 and you take Leadership over them once again. VERY EXCITING.
If you are someone who wants to fly faster and higher, you need to know about our FAST TRACK. Talk to the person who invited you to learn how you can Fast Track yourself all the way to level 4 within 2 to 3 days.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RECEIVE ALL 14 GIFTS AT ANY GIFTING LEVEL TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT GIFTING LEVEL. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GIFT YOUR (3) AND ONCE THEY HAVE CONFIRMED RECEIPT, YOU CAN IMMEDIATELY MOVE UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
To participate in our cash gifting program, simply go to your inviter’s 14 Eagles’ website to register for only $10. You’ll receive your own personalized 14 Eagles' website and back-office (Eagles' Den). It is in your Eagles' Den you can manage your Eagles Nest, find your first 3 names of people to gift, etc.
