Does anyone have a peloton? Has anyone used a competitor? What do you guys think about these connected work out stuff? Amazon announced new bike competitor. Do you guys have work out equipment at home?

Honestly, I've never wanted to be able to compete with others or have a social connection via home fitness equipment. I understand some people really love it.

For a long time I lived in an area where the closest gym (think like Anytime Fitness, Golds) was almost a half hour away. It encouraged me to do more hiking and spending time outdoors. I also had some home fitness equipment at the time and a big space to use it. I had a squat rack with weights, a gym-grade treadmill that we bought used for almost nothing from a corporate gym, and our last piece was a step/eliptical cross machine (Precor AMT) that we rented for about 6 months. I'll be looking for some new equipment when we make our next move.

Just get that stuff used - exercise equipment is durable.
