  • 2M Net worth

Well, I hit 2M Net worth. Just about 3.3 years from my 1m mark. I hit 1m on 2-2-2023. That was after working 30 years. I didnt really start saving for retirment untill 2002. For reference, because everyone’s life is different. Current base pay is 93k I also have the ability to work tremendous amounts of overtime. My average pay over my lifetime is 82k. I have 6 years left to work to collect my pension. I still work some OT but not as much as I use to. 800k of my net worth is retirent the rest is rentals and personal stuff. Total assets are 2.621.

    Congrats!

They say the first million takes forever compared to the second and beyond.
Looks like the third million will comes very quickly for you

        Very nice!

If your total assets are $2.6M, and your net worth is $2.2M, I am assuming you have $400k in liabilities? Mortgage on primary residence or the rental homes? Do you foresee having that debt resolved by the time you retire? $400k in 6 years is ALOT!

Net worth is 2m I have about 600k in rental debt. I may try and pay it off. It pays for itself for sure because I have so much equity. I also retire with a 6 figure pension.

Yeah, I've spent plenty of money on my CVO lol. I am trying to decide if Im going to max out all available savings and retirement spaces (457. IRA and HSA) for the next 5 years. I am 50 this year. Without overtime its about half of my base pay to max everything. I also take long motorcycle trips to finish my goal of seeing the lower 48. Ill be 55 when I retire.
