I eat. And then I wash my dishes. Not to say a plate never sits in the sink over night, but for the most part everything gets washed as soon as I am done cooking or eating.

I don't use it because I don't want to keep a box of dirty dishes around.

    A fire.

I don't think maintaining a clean / orderly home falls under the category of wasting time.

I mean I guess if you let dishes sit there for days they'd stink? So would your dish washer if you left them there for the same amount of time.

Why water bill averages about $20.

Living in an apartment, no space for a dishwasher, so hand washing is my only option. I use this over the sink rack air dryer. Works like a champ.

Might as well sell the clothes washer and dryer... if you've got a bathtub, you can rinse off your clothes in there and let them dry. Microwave? Who needs one if you have an oven, and if you have a spot where you can perform sacrificial burning, who really needs an oven?!. See that's the real problem why everyone seems so broke and lazy these days, I mean, nObOdY wAnTs To wOrK because if people aren't suffering and doing everything manually, there's no grit.

Why have a whole knife set when you just need one sharp axe?

Being that he lives in an apartment, he may not have a washer and dryer. And even if he did I don't think his lease would allow him to sell them.

I do occasionally do a deep clean on clothes using my bath tub. There are many great YouTube videos out there.

Hot pockets don't do so great in the oven.

Paimon and Lucifuge Rofocale really aren't that particular about burnt offerings. Maybe your daemons and familiar spirits are different.

"seems broke and lazy" sounds like an opinion on your part on someone else's situation.

You should work on your grammar skills, or check to see if your caps lock button is broken.

I guess it depends on what you're cleaning up as to what grit is needed. I have used Gojo on tough stuck on grime before.

The sacrificial dagger counts as a knife.

That is actually really nice. Does it work as well in practice as it looks like it does in the photograph?

I've been known to bucket wash and line dry some laundry on extended trips to my cabin. Don't have a microwave there either and get along just fine without.
The stove came with an oven attached so I think we will keep it.

You might be surprised how well you can get along without some of these things everyone assumes is a necessity?

Absolutely. I can live like it's 1899 too, kinda fun sometimes. Most things aren't necessities, but for cost and ease, why not? I really don't prefer to spend my time washing my clothes in buckets or scrubbing dishes. That's why we invented machines.

Fyi the dish washer was invented around 1850 and the washing machine prior to 1800.

The hand-crank clothes washers and dishwashers are such a pain. They freeze in the winter, and I can't sit there and move all the laundry through when the family comes down with dysentery. I prefer the electric ones with a water supply line, pump, and motor.

It works better in practice than it looks. 1) It frees up counter space. The old skool dish rack needs to be place on either the left side or the right side of the sink. And the old skool dish rack collects water which can lead to mold. Which leads to my next point. 2) The new skool dish rack drips directly into the sink. 3) The new skool dish rack utilizes space above the sink which was under-utilized with an old skool dish rack. 4) Old skool dish racks are half the size of this new skool dish rack. In fact this new dish rack can fit 3x or 4x more dishes than old dish racks where you'd have to pile dishes on top of each other to try go get everything to fit. You'd be very happy with this new style dish rack.
