If it was me, I'd just buy the baby girl the blue one without a second thought. lol who cares?

reminds me of an ex that was asking why I had flowery shower curtains. "um because that one was on clearance and cost half the price of the more manly looking ones"? lol
LOL, that is great! I wouldn't be bothering buying bibs in the first place, I would make them in whatever color I wanted. Unfortunately, after my second baby was born, I had to give away the pink sleep with hand embroidery away as I now had two sons and wouldn't be having any more kids. So I have never paid the pink tax.

I took a knee on the NFL about mid-season last year. I haven't really missed it.

My last game, one of the announcers was going on and on about how kneeling for the anthem was a courageous act.

No, walking into a jungle full of mines surrounded by Vietcong, who can see you but you can't see them, and watching your comrade get his head blown off right in front of you, splattering brain matter all over your fatigues, is an act of courage.

What has our nation come to?

I realize that this isn't the right forum for this but the mention has been made. I don't listen to the news very often and especially sports news. But I have seen some news headlines about kneeling at games and I have no clue what in the world they are talking about. Anyone with a short explanation?

Standing for the National Anthem shows respect for that country. Since "they" disrespect the country that has allegedly oppressed them, they kneel instead of stand. Whites kneel to show compassionate solidarity with their black teammates.

I had a boy, but let me tell you, he looked fine in his pink sleepers. They complimented his rosy cheeks. My husband agreed.

I too would buy the cheaper blue bib.

I watched a few friends die over my 20 years in the Navy. I don't give a hoot what the NFL does. I fought for their right to be stupid and they are doing just that. But don't ask me to be friends with any of them or to agree with what they are doing. I hang out with the crowd that stands for the national anthem.

Ridiculous! Give them all a one-way ticket back to whatever home country they originally came from if they have no respect for the USA! See what sort of respect they get when having to go back to living in a mud hut with no electricity, no grocery store, no multi-million-dollar job for playing a game! They may have to find out what working for a living is all about. I know that playing football isn't child's play, but then sending you kids on several mile-long hikes for a bucket of dirty water isn't child's play either.

I find it interesting that they kneel to show no-respect when through the centuries people knelt in the presence of royalty, church and government officials. Kneeling was a sign of utmost respect.

My youngest looked fabulous in red, but the day I didn't get him dressed anymore was the last day that I saw him wearing red! The niece that got the pink sleeper wasn't much of a girly girl either. Kids come into their own whatever we dress them in! But it is still important not to dress little boys in dresses just because you wanted a girl. We knew a guy whose mother did that to him for years and lets just say he was really messed up mentally.

Most of the kneelers can offer you no coherent explanation as to why they are kneeling. They cite ambiguous things such as black oppression by the cops, but few can ever give you any concrete examples, nor what they are doing personally to improve the situation. It's an attention-getter more than anything else.

The NFL owners, supposedly out of "principle" (remember that word) at first supported their players that knelt. Then, TV ratings began to decline last season. It amounted to about $200 million in lost revenue to those NFL franchises. Fast forward to this season, and the ratings continue to decline. All along, the NFL has steadfastly denied that it is due to the anthem games, but behind closed doors, they know the truth, and it is REALLY starting to hit the pocketbooks.

So...the owners came up with a "solidarity" deal a few weeks ago whereby they linked arms BEFORE the anthem. This was to playcate the players, and playcate the fans. Back-fired. The stadiums roundly boo'd the owners. Most working class folk are offended at the kneeling - any kneeling. So now the NFL owners are beginning to capitulate from their suppose-d principles due to lost profit: Some owners have issued "anthem edicts": You must stand for the anthem or you're not playing.

But it's too late. The public has seen through to the owners AND the players, and they aren't that stupid. The NFL owners will do whatever the dollar dictates. Gonna get messy. A lot of those player contracts are going to need to be canned, because the NFL isn't going to quite have the pot of $$ to work with that they once did.

That’s because if you ask the protestors and those that support the protestors, they take the knee in protest to call attention while still showing respect for flag and country. Several of the men participating come from military backgrounds and have voiced strongly this is not anti military.

But if the dialogue is them = blacks, and not them = fellow Americans we aren’t going to go far. That is indeed a big part of what is being protested.

I find kneeling to be a respectful way to protest.

                                That makes zero sense.
