unless you really are worried about credit score, nothing prevents you from getting the new card now anyways if you see one you like.

While this is technically true, there's a limit to how many credit cards I want to carry around, set up payments for, and remember to redeem rewards from.

I have had this card for years but finally gave up on it. The categories for 5% have been bad for me for the past couple years. I don't have a Walmart near me and rarely go to department stores!

I’m really liking this quarter’s categories. Gas and Apple Pay have let me rack up rewards quickly. Cable/internet as well and I think my cellphone bill got the bonus too

Someone from Chase must have seen this thread last quarter and stepped it up.
