Back on June 7th I had to cancel a shipping label with USPS. My mistake, and the label was only ~$13. I waited the 21 days, and no refund had been processed. I finally sat down and reached eBay customer service today, day 44, still no refund. They went ahead and processed the refund, no questions asked. I was thankful to be able to reach a live person (versus their AI chat bot, which I find aggravating to use).

The phone reps are foreign-based call center employees who know next to nothing about ebay. They just have scripts they follow and are notorious for giving wrong answers up to and including advice that can threaten your account if you follow it.
I don't fault anyone with an accent or being ineffective at resolving issues. That's on the parent company to staff customer-facing roles with people who can interface with their largest customer base and be equipped with the knowledge and access to solve issues. I'm glad to know messaging may provide a better path if I encounter issues in the future.History will judge the complicit.

Sold this Quicksilver board shorts today for $15 + $8 shipping. Got it scanned at USPS today as well vs dropping it off at a blue mailbox receptacle which I used to do but learned from disneysteve that method is risky. Glad to declutter and make a little bit of money as well. A previous buyer for the Windows 11 CD hasn't left a review which I guess is better than a negative review.
