Sometimes this forum makes me feel like a total spendthrift. I don't remember what I've paid for most of my clothes, but here's the expensive stuff that I wear daily:

    engagement ring - $3000
    wedding band - $250
    glasses - $450
    Apple Watch - $269 (gift)
band for Apple Watch - $10
    shoes - $40

I took the original question to be asking about clothing, not jewelry and other accessories. The only thing I wear beyond clothing is my wedding ring. I have no idea how much it cost. I've had it for almost 25 years.

well if you're including accessories, I wear Oakley prescription frames, which are expensive, probably $250 -350 not including insurance, not including lenses

Might seem expensive, but if you're a glasses wearer, you know that frames breaks often and frequently. Oakley frames are hands down the most durable frames on the market, and I can use them for years and years with multiple lens replacements without breaking. The main issue is that after years and years of use and abuse, the paint starts chipping off the frame.

We just got our washer fixed last night, so I'm in sweats until I finish the laundry. I'm wearing about $30 worth of clothes, and that includes my wrist brace!

If we are going to include accessories, add another $10,00 to $14,000 for me. I like my bling. Tastefully understated, but still bling.

Ah, depends on time of the year, summer is pretty "cheap" around maybe $70, winter is extra 200 for a jacket and warmer shoes

At this moment, I'm sitting at work in business casual.

                $1.50 top
                $1.50 cardigan
                $2.00 slacks
                $2.00 shoes
                $2.00 panties
                $3.00 bra

Everything but the panties are from 1/2 price clothing day at my local thrift store. I don't mean to brag, but I splurge and buy unused underwear.

$12 total. Is it weird that I think that's a lot? $12 just to not be arrested when I leave the house?

already on sale t-shirt and capris bought with an extra 40% off at Lands End, 6% back in ebates, and 20% off using Discover cash back, so maybe $35 total, if that. I get most of my clothes this way. I find that LE clothes last me years and years.

                      $5 underwear
$10 comfy bra because I'm in for the rest of the day

my only crazy expensive things are my glasses because I have very poor eyesight with a weird prescription that only one local lab can fill (none of the online glasses places can fit it, I've tried). The frames were $200, I've had them 4 yrs, I've replaced the lenses 3 times, the first set of lenses were $1500, the second $1200 and the last $600 because I had surgery to get some visual improvement. It bugs me that I'll never be able to get cheap good glasses. Actually, that's not true, with my new script, I got a back up pair at BJs for $89 but they aren't progressives, the worker told me BJs progressives suck. Shrug.
