  • How much are you wearing right now?

Strolling around Ala Moana mall in Honolulu and a sales lady selling cosmetics makes small talk with my wife. She says "that's a beautiful dress your wearing, where did you buy it"? I answer Ross!!! $5 and my wife is totally ashamed

I'm wearing $10 shorts, a $10 shirt, $20 shoes and maybe $1 a pop for underwear and socks, little did the lady know my wife is rolling with 10k+ worth of gold.

Most everyone here is in flip flops and shorts but in California I see some pretty mucky muck high end dressers, how much you wearing? Just curious

That's a great mall. They have an excellent food court and very inexpensive Asian snacks if you look in the right place.

$15 shirt. $25 pants. $15 belt. $60 shoes. A couple of bucks for socks and underwear.

The shirt and pants were bought at the Van Heusen outlet when they had double reward points so I earned a $10 coupon for every $50 spent. I think we spent about $170 that day so for $30 back toward our next visit.

Jeans $20 (after a JC Penney coupon), $4 clearance T shirt from Walmart, $20 hoodie from Target that is five years old, $10 bra, $5 underwear, less than $1 a pair socks (bought with Kohl's cash), and my splurge...$95.99 Asics running shoes (bought at the Post exchange, no tax).

I do wear my clothing out...so it does get a lot of use before I finally let go.

Not clothing, but $40 refurbished Fitbit on eBay.

I feel like I'm not the frugal one here.

I'm going to say $30. Shorts, long sleeves & underwear.

Cool story and idea as well. May have to make a video about it.

Probably $100, not sure. I need to dress in business casual for work, which includes dress shoes, slacks, and a belt unfortunately.

I still haven't changed out of my pajamas and probably won't until the washing machine gets fixed today, so about $40.

I was worried my Walmart underwear and pajamas would cause a stir.

That is a great mall, spent lots of time there, hehe. That said, I totally understand your wife being mortified.
