Exactly. Somehow the price of eggs is considered a political topic which is inane. Prices have skyrocketed when major outbreaks of avian flu have occurred resulting in the death of millions of birds. Supply and demand.

Still there seem to be people who believe that there’s a magic lever in the Oval Office where the President can adjust the egg price at will.

And so many topics that people equate with politics have little to nothing to do with politics.

That lever is on his desk, right beside the Nuke button.

The ~$40 Billion loss might help with a tax write-off, otherwise it looks like he and the other investors lost their collective shorts for the time being. And now he's being sued by the independent SEC for failing to disclose he was having shell corps of his buy up Twitter stock at artificially low prices.

I'm sure he's just another victim of a rigged and weaponized system, right?

Hopefully that isn’t too close to the Diet Coke button they’ll be reinstalling on Monday.

Plastic covers on all the buttons/keyboards so they don't get covered in ketchup or KFC sauce

              • I guess the bright side is we'll have someone in the office who CAN still feed himself...even if it's disgusting food.

Seriously though, has anyone had KFC recently? It's mostly bones and breading. I couldn't believe it the last time I tried it, maybe 2 months ago. my parents still buy it.

We have a local mom/pop restaurant who only makes deep fried chicken for dinner. It's incredible. A little more expensive, but a ton of meat compared to KFC. We get it a couple times a year. Old people love KFC.

I’ve never been into fried chicken on the bone though I like boneless wings or chicken fingers. Never a KFC fan though. I did used to like their popcorn chicken many years ago.

The only KFC near me is also a Taco Bell

Yep, they started doing a lot more of those dual brand locations a number of years ago. I guess it keeps costs down and brings in more people who can't all agree on what they want.

                      • Last time we had KFC chicken it was pretty nasty.
I've found a couple convenience stores that put out some really good fried or broasted chicken, pretty common around this area.

Having said the above, it's hard to beat doing it yourself at home in a cast iron skillet the way Mom & Grandma made it.

We very rarely eat fast food at all. About the only time we do is when we're on a road trip and want something quick and close to the highway. And then we feel disgusting afterwards. I really don't see the appeal. And it's expensive. For just a few bucks more you can get a decent meal.

                            It's currently coated with icecream.

I’ll take ice cream over ketchup. I’ve never developed a liking for ketchup. I never use the stuff.
