Super Bowl Spending?

Will you spend anything on the Super Bowl?

I bought a square for the office Super Bowl pool for $10.

I'm thinking about picking up a tray of sushi and a bottle of beer at the grocery store to supplement the homemade goodies I have planned (tamari almonds and edamame hummus with rice crackers). The sushi & beer would be splurges, but the regular grocery budget could absorb them.

My wife and daughter were at the store yesterday and Junior Mints were on sale 3 boxes for $.88 each so they bought one for each of us. So that's $2.64.

Only problem is my daughter opened her box last night, so I guess we need to deduct that from the Super Bowl portion of the expense.

why? it's not like they're not going superbowl again for the next few years.

Vegas makes so much money on those types of bets. SOmetimes they do pay off, which is fun. Like the "will there be a safety on the first play bet" that I think paid out a few times recently.

No not really. We will eat dinner just like any other night and eat it while we watch the game, if we even watch. I really just like the commercials and in recent years those can all be found on YouTube.
