I don't mind them being on YouTube after the game but the last couple of years, they released a lot of them online before the game. That really annoyed me as it took all the fun out of it.

Ummm, we won't be spending a dime. In fact, if not for all those pictures avove, I would be hard pressed to tell you what sport the super bowl even is.

Were you born in the U.S.?

It is hard to imagine an adult born in the U.S. didn't know the Super Bowl is for football.

I am not a sports fan at all but I was thinking the same thing.

I'm not doing anything more than sitting in my bathtub, perhaps with some prosecco or margaritas. I might youtube the best commercials tomorrow. My husband bought some salsa and chips and we already had the wine he wants to drink. I'm starting to realize that not talking to family is really cutting down on my expenses. I'm also much more relaxed.

I just found out on Friday that today was the super bowl, when they were talking about it in the office. My first question after "Oh, that's this weekend?" was "Who's playing?" ... lol

As you can suppose, I don't care about football, and will not be spending a dime on the super bowl.

I decided against buying sushi and instead got the ingredients for a "California-roll-type" salad (surimi, cucumber, avocado). Much less expensive and bigger (there will be leftovers for lunch tomorrow). The only thing I "shoehorned" in to the grocery budget was a nice bottle of Heineken. Other than that, we're not spending any extra on our meal . . . but I am making a little extra effort to make things pretty. It's fun & festive, and I don't even care who wins.

I'm with you. The best part of getting out of seven yr relationship is the peace and quiet of no sports or heaven forbid, Fox News, being on 24/7.

The over wasn't looking very good. if you had the under it was a bad beat, under was looking good the whole game
