This one is priced at $380K, and is just down the street from me. It was on the market for about 24 hours.

You can get a 1 bedroom, 1 bath where we live now.

But you can still find $500-$600k homes so for not much more you can get an actual house.

I'm glad I live in a sane part of the country. Every house on our block is under 400K. Ours would probably bring 250K on a good day, maybe a little more in the current environment. That's a 2-story colonial, 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, full basement, 1-car garage, 1/4 acre lot.

None listed at 400K or less in my town, I did find this one for $440K.

thing i like about Mass. homes is some of them are literally hundreds of years old. Where I live, there are no homes more than around 100 years tops, as the only people here before that were indians.
