I went through my FB friends list and snoozed for 30 days all of my hyper-partisan friends on both "sides."

Just dropped off a few boxes at Good Will yesterday, plus we re-organized some things in the garage over the past few weeks. We start a main floor house renovation so as we are packing up the kitchen, living room, and dining room I imagine we'll be doing a lot more decluttering in the next 2 months.

By contrast, we sold DW's car in Alaska in literally less than 3 hours. That was mind-blowing. Plus, the guy shows up with a bank envelope filled with $15k in CASH. That was a pain in the butt to deal with (lacking any local banks).

My wife is a queen of Facebook Marketplace. She's bought & sold everything from clothes & kids toys to furniture & cars, typically at a shockingly fast pace.
Yesterday she managed to sell our queen-size bed frame that's been crowding our bedroom since we upgraded to a king-size bed in October. More surprising was that the buyer lives in a different state, 300mi/5hrs away!
It'll be a couple weeks before they drive out this way to pick it up, but they paid half upfront, and we're glad to be soon getting our floor space back. We've got a large beanbag lounger that's been waiting to get in that space.

I've failed you all. Thanks for starting the new thread!
We actually worked on a bit of financial decluttering today. We just got back from the bank where we redeemed a mature savings bond. We also did the paperwork for a medallion signature guarantee to consolidate two accounts. I had started the process last month and was initially (and mistakenly) told I didn't need an MSG. Then the transaction got declined because it turns out we did need one. Today was the first opportunity we had to get over there. It will take 2 business days so we should have it by the middle of next week and can resubmit the transfer paperwork. Hopefully that will get finalized soon.
I also did some impromptu physical decluttering this morning. We had a problem with our washing machine yesterday. While I was fixing that, I finally decided to get rid of the old dehumidifier that has been there since we bought the house (26+ years ago). I had never bothered because the previous owner had built in a frame for it suspended from the basement ceiling, but it was time for it to go. I took down the device itself and then tore out the frame. That corner looks so much brighter and more open now, and we can stop banging our heads on it.

2021 Decluttering Thread
I expected someone else start a new thread (Come on, DS) for the new year. I just shipped out some toys and tools sold on Ebay. Just posted some more items for sale.
