Thanks for the information DisneySteve. I have a broken Helbros watch which I will try listing on eBay as well. I took off the back cover plate and replaced a new battery in it but it still doesn't work. Helbros is not as valuable as Invicta and I was going to throw it away but it can't hurt to try listing it on eBay to maybe get $5 out of it.

I sold a bumper from a truck for $450 on Craigslist about a year ago.

I took a friend and a gun with me. I made the buyer meet me in daylight in a Walmart parking lot. I told him cash only. Everything went smooth.

nothing better than selling stuff 0n ebay that you get for free, 100% profit. my mom sells plants from her backyard, she plucks a piece off and it grows back, she has been selling her plants for 4 or 5 years and has made over 15k pocket money in that time

ive sold gambling books from the casino, didnt make a huge profit, around $3 per book but i sold over 40 books last football season, i also sell cigarette coupons the cigarette companies give out and ive sold 10% off coupons for lowes that the post office hands out, anytime im out and about im looking for freebies to sell

just sold a pair of leather converse all stars for $67 shipped, i bought them for $26 a pop my all in cost, they were cheap so i bought 4 pairs and threw em up on ebay and if they sell they sell if not i would wear them as my reason for purchase. ended up clearing $22 on them.

years ago i was having drop shipments from gun supply dealers and making a twenty dollar bill here and there, actually sales were very brisk for a while but ebay has since restricted more gun part sales. there are lots of opportunity through ebay if your creative... ive sold hummingbird feeders from the dollar store for $8 a pop making close to $5 on them and i sold a case of 48 and more

All the antique watches I buy off of ebay are broken. I wouldn't be able to afford them otherwise. I think the most I paid to fix one was $60, and now each are worth several hundred more than I paid. I would guess it depends on what is wrong with it, but you might make more money by getting it fixed first.

Been selling scanners and such at $100 a pop. My DH bought and fixed the door handle on my 1999 Corolla when it used to break. So a lot of people will sell car parts on ebay to fix older cars. Easier than waiting for one to show up at the junkyard and cheaper than buying from dealership.

I sold another Game Boy game on eBay today. That brings my total since March 1 to $125.38.

I listed 2 items on 4/10. They ended on 4/17. One sold for the starting price of $6 which is fine. The item cost me nothing. The other didn't sell. However, I got an email from a user yesterday saying he was interested and missed the auction. He asked me to relist it with a buy it now and he would buy it. I did that this morning and he bought it within minutes. That was another $12. So $18 more to my total.
