See the Northern Lights.
I'm a little surprised that's the first one that popped into my head but I guess that says something.Steve
* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

If I can't have that, I will settle for doing something that people remember my name. Hopefully it will be for something good, but I can't promise anything.

Hmmm.....
I would like my kids to see where I grew up. We are planning a possible trip next summer to the other side of the world to make that happen.
Honestly, the biggest thing I want is to get my kids settled in careers and able to be self-supported and know they will be ok. My oldest has some special needs and I need to know he will be ok either with someone else or with one of his brothers OR best scenario yet, able to support himself and live on his own.

make my relationships stronger with both my kids, some of it is normal teenage stuff but some of it is things the ex has said about me. Before they are totally launched, I want to get to a better place with them both. A year ago I was in the hospital, having what looked like a major stroke, my speech was a garbled mess but I tried to tell them everything I needed/wanted them to know. I never want to be in that situation again, I want them to know how I feel about them, etc
The doc had said bring them in in case I lost speech altogether. It was evening time. After garbling pleading with the ex to bring them in, he did. I thought wow, that was nice of him. A week later, I got a letter from his lawyer saying I was never to "disturb" him when it is his custody time with them. Before I died, I wanted to repair my relationship with him, I have been trying to co-parent for 14 yrs. That letter let me off the hook, I don't "owe" him anything before I die.

...to see Alaska and Northern BC.
...to send a letter to my birth father, letting him know I've found him, and that I'm alive.
...to see my brother find peace with himself.
...to own another fast car
...to see my nieces grow up, and do great things, and for them to find love and happiness.History will judge the complicit.

I want to...
see DSs married, these revolving live-ins are contrary to my value system, it's so hard to keep my mouth shut,
stop having recurring bouts of cancer
never ever have another heart attack! It sent my family into a tizzy we're still working on settling. I knew the medicos were fixing the problem but family had no information and over reacted.

Spread a million smiles
Life has a purpoe. Maybe, it's different to everyone out there. But the fundamentals remain the same. Try and give back as much to the society.
Our short / long time goals are never contant and it needs tinkering quite often. Although, we do maintain a robust list of To Do's, yet most of it falls short as we keep re-inventing stuffs.
For me - It's creating values & spreading smiles by undertaking any task that would truly be meaningful not just to me but everyone around
