Anyone know who has best deal on a new iphone?

Taking into account contract terms they offer, what carrier has the best deal?

Also, I hear iphone 7 will be unveiled next month in September. Any intel?

Any help is appreciated. I plan to get a new phone next month.

    Thanks

I just got my iPhone 6 plus from Virgin Mobile, $650 (plus $70 tax) for the iPhone 6 plus (16 GB) and $30 a month (with the automatic payment plan). Virgin Mobile is always about 1 year late when releasing the iphones but it's not that much of a big deal to me. Boost Mobile has basically the same deal. I just listed my iPhone 4S on eBay with a starting price of .99 cents and it is currently bidding at $26. I'm guessing it'll sell for close to $100. You could probably do a search on eBay and figure out which one is mine.

It never occurred to me to sell my phone, I'd stick it in the bin where it gets donated to victims of domestic violence. Maybe next time, sell the phone and split the profits with the shelter, lol

I'm hearing it will be iPhone 6S; not a major upgrade to the phone itself this time around.

Last I heard it might be announced 09-Sep or one day that week.

I use Virgin Mobile; I'm holding out for the announcement, then will consider getting the 6 or 6+ b/c the price should go down. I have a 4S now - any buyers???

Unless you have an extra $700. lying around, keep your old phone as a backup in case your current one it's broken, lost or stolen. To me it's not worth the few bucks I might get for it.

my brother was in from Boston, very techie, he does some work on speech recognition sometimes so he somehow has a pretty good bead on what to do about your phone and plan. He just hates to be the family tech guy so he rarely shares his info. That's ok, when he's sick, I'll be too weary from comparing phone options to be his nurse.

Anyway, he told me plans like I have with AT&T are disappearing, I will not eventually be given a totally free Iphone and just make my month to month plan into a 2 yr contract with the same details. The consumer is going to be forced into paying a lot monthly for a contract phone that's "discounted" or buy an unlocked phone but I think he said you usually have to pay $30 a month to use an unlocked phone.

I liked the old days, wait three years, free iPhone, go back on contract but on the same exact terms, truly paying nothing for the phone. I did get an email, to get a free iPhone plus or whatever it's called. Free just meant 0 down, very misleading ad, it was way at the bottom, barely legible about the monthly charge to buy the phone. And then I would also lose a $15 discount I didn't even know I have. I'm hoping if I can keep this 5s going a few more years, by then the phone market will not be so full of crap, that consumers won't take it. $63 is my limit so by the time i'm ready to buy a phone, $63 will only get me two soup cans and some string.
