Here are the 3 things/stuff that I usually do.

    1. I'm working from home and earn because of my home-based job. That's how I make money.

    2. I don't skip working out and hitting the gym twice a week.

    3. I'm going out with friends, once or twice a week and I keep on planning on future plans most probably business related.

      1) Can it be *saving* money, rather than earning? If so, cheap grocery shopping. Seriously. Making a game of shopping loss leaders & keeping the grocery spending under $100/mo for 2 people.

      2) Bicycling

      3) Knitting/crocheting

            Mine are:

            Make money
            Save money
            Spend money

Doing all three is a very big challenge...

I'm surprised more of the hobby answers didn't pertain to savings/investing

                1. Social event planning. I'm a corporate event planner by trade but I run a small side business doing social events which are way more fun
                2. Yoga and volleyball
                3. Refurbishing furniture

I don't know if these are really hobbies, but:

                  1. I don't make money with it, but I save a ton......I do a lot of research on how to live more frugally, go to yard sales and thrift stores often, watch sales, and try to get things for as dirt cheap as I can get them while still getting decent quality.

                  2. I am working on it. I signed up for my first 5K mud run for this coming weekend.

                  3. I am getting back into photography.

                    1. If trying to expand my skills and watching work related tutorials is considered a hobby, than that would be the first one
                    2. Meditating
                    3. Painting and drawing.

                      1. Sportsbetting off of my models
                      2. Hitting the gym/diet hacking (currently ketogenic)
                      3. Screenwriting... (thanks to this thread I realised #3 is an area I need to lift in)

                      Nice thread, good fun.

Number 1 and number 3 are kinda the same for me. I love graphic design and do that in my free time, plus, it occasionally brings me a good amount of money. For number two I would say dancing and hitting the gym sometimes.

                          Well... lets see....
                          1. Yard sales - I get things I like and sell stuff I buy as well. Made $700 so far this year on resales alone.
                          2. Exercise every workday. Do yard sales and housework on weekends.
                          3. I like to rebuild things. Toy trains (strip to tin and repaint), 50's classic metal housewares (again strip and repaint to prior glory), built my own furniture (been some years since I did one however).
Don't torture yourself, thats what I'm here for.

                            1. Making Money - I have three main hobbies but I cant say any of them have ever made me money. I do build a lot of my own engineering concepts in my home workshop and I have in the past repaired things for people for a bit of scratch. To the tax man - I have never repaired anything at home for any money.

                            2. shape - I am one of those typical muscle meat heads you see down the gym for 2 hours everyday. I would say I'm fitter and thicker than 99.9% of the population.

                            3. Creativity - My job is my creativity. People only pay my extortionate fee's when they have exhausted all other options to solve the problems they have. When your best engineer cannot solve it you can call me but I bill per ten minutes.
