  • How much do you pay for Internet?

I'm sore to limited in my choices for Internet service as we only have 2 main companies in my area (comcast and AT&T). AT&T is less expensive, but I have heard horror stories about their speed ans service from friends. That's not saying Comcast is good, but out of the two choices it seems to be the best. I pay $39 a month (discounted because I bundle it with cable, but it may go up to $49 if I cancel cable) which is OK. I could go for lower speeds, but I think that would actually cost me money with productivity. What do you pay for your Internet service?

$70 for internet and cable. It's cheaper to get basic channels cable with internet than internet alone.

We pay 54.99/mo for broadband internet through Time Warner Cable. We have no other services from them.

$70.25 with Mediacom, and no other company services my street. Though unfortunately, they put a data cap on us, and we like to stream netfix for entertainment (we don't have cable), and that often pushes us to $80.25 or even $90.25/month

We pay $75.65 for our internet, though about $10 of that is taxes. Comcast is the only thing in our area that has speed high enough for streaming. We've tried all the cheaper ones and you can't even watch a 5 minute youtube vid without it taking an hour. We don't have cable or phone, so we don't save by bundling, either. But our connection is excellent.

Right now we're on a 1 year package deal with Comcast. $49.99 (ends up at about $55 with taxes) for Basic Cable (10 channels plus HBO) and Internet.

When the package rate expires I think it bumps up to around $70.

Currently with Integra Telecom DSL at flat rate 49.99 per month for 10Mb down/1Mb up. I was in the same boat with Mediacom since they kept raising my rates with broadband while trying to convince me to add cable packages to lower the cost. I was so fed up with their sales and customer service I was willing to sacrifice speed for the price since they were up to $90.
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Oh, looking at all these, my Internet bill isn't as bad as I thought it might be.
