  • What's the last thing you bought?

I thought that this might be interesting. What is the last thing that you purchased? If you come to this thread any read this, take a moment to think and just write down the last thing that you bought. If you want to give an explanation of why you bought it, that's fine but it's not necessary. I just think it would be interesting to see what people are buying on a day-to-day basis and what they happen to buy right before they stumbled into this section.

I guess I should start: The last thing I bought was food at the grocery store since I spent the morning cooking meals for the week. The last thing I picked up in my shopping cart, if I remember correctly, was the half-gallon of almond milk.

I reckon for nearly every item for sale, there is someone who just bought it, so we could list the entire universe of things for sale.

As for me, the last purchase was rust inhibiting paint, 2 tubes of caulk, a pack of ten disposable latex gloves.

The last thing I bought was raffle tickets for $20. We attended a fundraising event today to raise money for Give Kids the World. We actually won two raffle prizes so we ended up coming out ahead on the deal. One of the two baskets included a $25 Disney gift card so on that alone, we made a $5 profit, plus we got a lot of other neat stuff. And our entire $20 went to the charity (100% of the money collected goes to GKTW).

I just bought a ring this morning.

On a day-to-day basis, I don't buy much. (Spouse does most grocery shopping and errands, so I literally don't buy much). You caught me on a splurge.

Great question. I don't buy a whole lot of stuff, but today I was in between jobs and did have to stop by Mickey D's (I didn't pack a big enough lunch!). I spent a couple bucks on their dollar hamburgers (which aren't actually a dollar anymore!)

I don't eat out often, but I guess today was an exception.

You caught me in a VERY expensive period -- my wedding is next week, so I feel like I'm going through money like water... about an hour ago, I bought the ties for myself, my best man, and my 2 groomsmen.

I'm honestly looking forward to having the wedding and everything over with... way too stressful... and we're keeping things relatively "simple" !!!! But at the same time......

Sweet potato fries and a milkshake at Carl Jr's.

This was after going grocery shopping.
