My credit score is 750 now, I want to increase it, but I also feel that it goes down for different reasons.

Unfortunately mine is a low 690. However, I just payed off every single CC debt I had, and will start to use a single CC to pay monthly recurring utility bills and then pay it off every month. Hopefully I can check back to this thread months from now with a much better score

    780. No debt and I always pay on time and in full. No mortgage. No loans left to pay. As long as that keeps me in the excellent range I can live with that.

So I have a credit score of 650, I have no loans, I always pay my bills on time, still my application got rejected. How ill I ever get a credit score of 850, if somebody doesn’t approve my application for a merchant account? It was quite a shock for me when my application got rejected for low credit score. I wanted to start my own florist shop.

My wife has an astounding credit score for never having had a mortgage, 817. I had early credit troubles but have climbed from 490 to 685!

I'm also in the 800 Club as many call it. It's always interesting to fill out a loan application and have the other person comment how they've never seen a score like that. The last car loan I had offered a 0% rate and the dealer warned me that no one would qualify for it. Surprised him!

This month mine was 765. That is the lowest of the 3 bureaus and it's been in a while since it has been this low. Probably because I opened up a new Amazon card and we bought a house last year. It was in the 790s and low 800s last year.

Lol. I think the highest you can get is 850?

Ours were both over 800 the last time we refinanced. I think Dh's was 810 and mine was 815 or 820.

There is now Vantagescore which has a range of 501-990 and also gives you a letter grade.

    Vantage Score
