Our TiVo. While we probably use our kitchen and computers more, nothing in the kitchen nor any computer ever has done what it was supposed to as well and as consistently as TiVo.

My self-assembled computer. I really save a lot to customize and build my own pc.

If I bought my dogs I would say my dogs, but fortunately they needed homes and were basically handed to my family.

The best thing I ever bought was my car and my camera. I can get in my car at anytime and have a day full of photography to get away from the craziness of my busy life.

Three College Degrees because without them I would not be able to support myself or have anything else.

Tangible: Condo. I love renovating and decorating it to my style.

Intangible: Solo trip to Italy. Even though my face broke out with astounding number of zits not even seen in high school, I'll never forget the sheer awesomeness of the marble cathedrals, the robust cultural cities, and the quietness of the canals.

Practical: an advanced degree - MBA in my case

Family: Annual passes to Family Destinations (Busch Gardens, Dollywood, Children's Museum, etc. - whatever is close to where we live). Always provides for some good family bonding and a quick getaway.

Health: Garmin ForeRunner 110 GPS stopwatch for my morning runs. Very motivating!

Fun: Tickets to Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field on my 30th birthday. (seems like forever ago)

Nostalgia: Pearl Jam's VS. album. Stood out in the rain at midnight waiting for that one. Must have played it every day for a year.

                          but the overall winner???
1992 25th Anniversary Chevy Camaro RS, with T-tops and a 350. Boy I miss that car!

Remote starter for my car. Nothing better than leaving work at 2AM to a warm car while its almost 0 degrees out.
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Slingbox, no not sling shot. It's an electronic device that transmits my home TV to my iphone via a router. I bought it from Best Buy a few years ago for $189. The price dropped quite a bit to around $100 now. There is no monthly fee. I never miss a game or favorite shows (CNBC). I can power on/power off, change channels, etc. Whatever channels I get on my home TV is transmitted to my iphone or internet device.
