How many hours a week do you work?

I'm salaried, government. Typically I work about 35 hours a week, using leave to make up the difference to 40. Never over 40. Work/life balance is intensely important to me. Family comes first. I don't feel sorry though for people who work 50+ hours a week or commute for 2 hours a day. That is their choice.

I dont know what it would take in terms of salary for me to leave this job for one that would have more stress? Not sure if that topic has come up yet in any other thread but it would be interesting to hear how much more someone would have to make to take on more stress.

How much are these type of perks worth? Am I selling myself short for not seeking more? Should one constantly seek career advancement for the sake of money or success (which everyone defines differently)?

I like who I work with. I can leave anytime I need to and have a flexible schedule. Heck, I have my own office.

35 hours on regular shift with 2 days of a week (when I work at home).
Or 45 hours a week in 3 shifts with 12_14 hour hotel stays out of town, and no set days all is on call work. The benefit of the on call is about 40% more pay. I have the luxury of bidding on what style I want to work whenever, depending on my seniority at the time.

I work about 13 hours a week. At one job, where I am a residental caregiver, I'm legally allowed to sleep, though when the hurricanes go through the "ally", I usually don't. It is a really small, family business residentail home I work at. I do some work with an agency on an "as needed" bases.
In my non-paid work time, I do volunteer work, mostly with my church, and enjoy being at home. (Gas is high.)
I have no kids and no "honey-pie".
