I guess mine's kind of obvious, too, I wanted to stress less about our financial life at the time. Even though our credit card debt is paid off, I'm still striving to find ways to increase our financial peace and to spend less time thinking about money. As other problems crop up in life, it's nice to have the money stuff almost running on automatic.

Ok, anyone ever heard of the song "yakity sax"? Or, most likely, that Charlie Brown song (yakity yak, don't talk back)? Back in like 96, I was yakity on Mirc on dalnet. I signed on one time and "yakity" was taken, all the names I could think of were taking also. So, I became "zakity" and I have been "zakity" on the computer ever since.

Mine is a combination of what my husband calls me 'Princess' and the old nickname fellows used to call me...
Following is a hopefully PG-13c version....
When many were asked "which girl are you talking about?" they said "the one who is 'small but perky'". I was and am 6 ft tall, so they were not referring to my height, just old fashioned teenage obsession with chest size. I discovered this from one group of friends accidentally, then found out it was widely used at all three of my jobs. (which waitress? the one that is perky, not big but perky)
Anyway when I found out about it back in the 90s It was right before my first ever email address (wow I am old!) I thought the irony and stupidity (why not call me the redhead?) funny and being self conscious about my lack of size decided that at least the fellows noticed something so I used perky online ever since. (though after I hit 20 they grew, so now maybe it is now my vain hope that they are still perky in spite of nursing 4 kids?)

My screen name was born back in 1997, when my friends and I were just discovering the internet in earnest. Pearl came from a something sweet a very dear friend said to me at the time, but since it was taken, it morphed into pearlieq.
What seemed acceptable at 17, is now cringe-worthy as I'm knocking on 30. But it has been my "name" for so long that I can't bear to get rid of it. And so it stays, even though I wince a bit when people ask me for my email address.

scfr = smart couples finish rich
I think that if you are married, in order to have financial security, you and your spouse must work together as a team.
My personal definition of "rich" has nothing to do with a lavish lifestyle. It's about being able to have a comfortable life (basic needs met + a few nice extras) for yourself and everyone you love for the rest of your life.
