Pro-Tip: Store Brands Are Usually The Same As Name Brands

In most cases store brands are just as good as name brands. This is especially the case with Costco Kirkland brand - its from the same manufacturer as the name brand stuff, just packed differently.

This is somewhat true but also varies a lot from store to store. Trial and error will help you figure out which store brands you like just as much or even more than the brand names. For example, we have found that we like Aldi shredded cheese better than any other store brand. I like the generic version of Cheerios from Wegmans but not from ShopRite. I like Wegmans version of Chex Mix better than the brand name. You can save a bunch of money testing out the various brands in your area and finding the ones you like the best.

Other condiments from them however, I can't tell the difference

We have liked nearly every Wegmans brand product we have tried with only a few exceptions.
