Anyone know of a good brand of carpenter jeans? I have Levi carpenter jeans but there the old style from 2008 which were better than the ones Levi makes now. I want a good heavy denim with a stone washed color. Also to mention these would be for man. Thanks for your help.

Carhartt...but I've had some bad luck with them. In recent years, their sizing is running smaller (and no, my waist is not getting bigger!) and quality control seems to have gone downhill. A pant listed as having a 32" inseam seems it can be anywhere from 30-34" or longer, so trying them on (with shoes) is something I do with every pair before leaving the store. But I do like their stuff when it fits as expected.History will judge the complicit.Comment
