  • The best time to start a business from home

The best time to begin a business at home is not when you need money, but when you don't need it. When you need money, you don't have much flexibility to grow your business because you must focus on making the next dollar. If you don't need the money, you are in the position to create a better foundation. If you want to make good money at home, start thinking about it when you don't need the extra money. That way when you do, you have already done all the leg work that needs to be done.

    Hey makingmoney,

Good tips you have mentioned above. But, there are several other good tips, that i would like to add here. It is the best time to start a business from home when:

    • You have sufficient time in your life to focus on it.
    • There is no stress in your life.
    • You are mentally prepared and ready to experience new challenges in your business.

          Yep agreed

It can take a while to build up a strong and resilient business also. So yes - doing that before you need it up and firing is smart.

Starting today and then seeing it grow, then spin off cash, unfortunately takes place in that order.

            Ways To Make Money

Also if your one and only goal is money, than it's better not to start working on anything. Find something that you love and are passionate about. That way you'll be more satisfied when you earn your first dime.

It depends. I started back when college, and when I did, I really needed money, and it pushed me to invest more time. It was great time and it helped me really establish my first online business.

As long as you are not affecting your bottom line, you should be able to go for it.

Disagree, i think the best time to start making money is right after 18 or at 16 if the local laws permit it. I was working since 16 and i already had savings by when i hit 18, that let me into various investments. If i just started life at 18 with 0 savings living on parents money that would been much worse.

A whole lot of businesses were started by folks down on their luck, out of work, and desperate, so they just got something going to bring in some income and it blossomed from there due to hard work.

Pre-planning time and setting aside funds in advance would be ideal, but is not always an option. I would contend that a "nose to the grindstone" hard work ethic is the most important aspect of making a business successful.
