I like $ but I dont love it. I prefer time over cash and for the first half of our marriage I had way more time than money. After years with decent decisions I feel we have the decent balance of both.

True. Like guns don't kill people, but in the hands of someone unfamiliar with proper usage, both guns and money can play a role in a horrible situation.

I don't love money, but I do love the security that I feel when I have taken care of all my responsiblities and don't feel like I'm living on the edge. I would just like to have enough that I feel prepared for most of the situations that life could throw at me. Money is a means to an end for me.

I do not generally quote the bible but
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

That is a good quote, but I would definitely add that the lack of money is also a root of all kinds of evil...I think the key is balance-having enough money to enjoy life, without worshipping money for its own sake.
I definitely like money and enjoy the good things it can bring to me and to the ones I love.
