Yeah it is just not worth a drive into the city and back for me and all the wear and tear on the car just for that little amount of money. I wish there was one closer, that's what I get for living in the burbs lol. My mom used to do it all the time and some of my other relatives, it would make them dizzy, quesy and lightheaded and then they would need to eat and would go to fast food places. So other than a meal and some cigarettes it didn't pay for much other than that. I get light headed without donating blood so I would probably pass out lol! I know I was having mysterious headaches, dizzyness at some point and had my blood tested, my iron levels would too low at that time to be eligible to donate blood, but that was 3 years ago.
