Since you misspelled the word twice it doesn't give me any confidence in this money making idea.
I second that! Matchstick Men rocked though. LOL

It sure did. One of our favorite movies. I always wonder how people can be that gullible and willing to do anything for making money 'the easy way'.

      • Blogging is indeed a great way to make money. Also online tutoring is really catching on. If you have the subject knowledge and are good at explaining things, not only does it help in earning but also gives you immense satisfaction. You could also earn through running music classes, dance classes, setting up science experiments for kids, any other kids-centric activity within a particular age-group.

          • Article writing to Make Money

Article writing is a good way to make money online. There are sites out there you can start making money today.

If you love writing this is a way to start making additional income in your spare time.

I know of at least two sites that you can make money like yesterday if you are serious about it and the beauty is that they pay you every week. You can also outsource to someone at a cheaper rate if you can find a reliable freelance writer for cheap.

Working online is not easy but when you get the hang of things it can be a breeze. The secret is in sticking with something you know works until it works for you. No point jumping from one online business to another because that only leaves unfinished projects lying around. Stay focused and you will succeed. It can really get boring. Only the strong and smart ones survive.

I agree with you 100%. If all you want is 'easy' money whether in the real world or on line you are chasing a dream. As in most things, hard work is what makes for income. You need to research the possibilities, find something that appeals to you, and then work hard to be the best you can be doing it. Run fast from any on line work that requires you pay money upfront to do the job. I've been making money on line for years now. Started my own business but have other ideas up my sleeve, for when I have time to get them into practice.

                  • find ways to make money is much much more important than finding ways to save money!
I think it is a balance of the two. No point finding ways to make more money if you are just going to waste it. Learning to save can be done without bringing in extra revenue as well. At one point I was living on 50% of my salary between taxes and savings that were taken out before I got it. Then I made the huge mistake of marrying a guy who spent money faster than anyone can make it. Within months that salary that I easily lived and saved on, was no longer sufficient for our needs and his wants even with his income thrown in. One very important reason to really KNOW about the other's finances before getting your finances tangled up with another whether as a new spouse or a live in friend. It is too easy for them to TELL you what they want you to know, it is another thing for actually see for yourself by examining bank and savings accounts.

My ex was always thinking up ways for me to make more money (funny thing since I was already bringing in more than him and as I said my income had been sufficient for me). I didn't need to find ways to make more money, but I did have to find a way to shut off the outgoing hemorrhage of cash.

                    • Nowadays there is also a great demand for medical transcription. Also, personal skill like cooking, baking, playing an instrument, being good at drama etc may help you earn by using your creative skills. On line tutoring is also very much in vogue.

                      • Nowadays there is also a great demand for medical transcription.
Not necessarily true. My SIL has her own business doing transcriptions and brings in enough to farm out some of the work to others. My son also is trained in medical transcription and in our area has only been able to find a part time 10 hour a week job. My SIL (many years experience and up on everything important in the area) says that due to changes in health care laws, there is also a change in ways that doctors get their notes on a chart. My own doctor sits there inputting everything into a computer while talking with me. So while there is still some demand for transcriptionists, it is a dying job market and before going into it and taking all the expensive and long training for it, you will need to talk seriously with those that would use one plus transcriptions themselves to find out what the current and future demand is in your area. Don't go by what schools might tell you or believe that they help with job placement as that is usually a lie or series of lie to get you to sign up for classes. They don't care if you get a job when you are done, they got their money.

Also if you have trouble understanding someone with a foreign accent of any kind, be careful of going into transcription where many of our doctors do speak with an accent, and when transcribing into their little recorders they all seem to talk twice as fast and that makes it twice as hard to understand them. My son (autistic) ran into this in the one full time job he was able to find where he had not yet matured into how to work in an office. He kept saying he couldn't get this when transcribing the foreign doctors although his failure rate when transcribing was extremely low (his mistake average was around 2-3%) and he was let go without notice about 2 months into his probation. As he refuses to tell any of his employers that he is battling a deficit of any kind, they didn't take what he was saying with a grain of salt. They took him at his word that he didn't understand even though he basically could but was having some difficulty). So between the autism and the foreign doctor, he lost the job. This part time one has been working out great but in the couple of years since he got it, there has been no openings for a full time job at all.

Perhaps Disney Steve knows more about this, but I would urge great caution in thinking this is a job with a growing demand for workers. Used to be and places that train people won't tell you that it really isn't so.

I totally agree with you here. While the amount of money you can save is limited, finite-the amount of money you can make is unlimited.

                          • the amount of money you can make is unlimited.
Not necessarily true. Due to education, intelligence, health, stamina, location, discernment, etc. some people are very limited in what they can earn. While I can think up plenty of ways to make money, because of my health problems, there are things I just can't get into physically. I've seen many that write on these type boards who (at least through their writing skills) show lower intelligences, lower education wanting to do anything and they will believe anyone who tells them that they can make extra money. Remember the old stuffing envelopes scam? I had a friend that really wanted to make more money and she told me she was considering doing that. She was so let down when she found out it was a scam. That is where discernment comes in. Being able to judge if something is a scam or not.

For those that can, one of the best things is to start your own part time business, but that even involves talent for bookkeeping, setting prices, etc. even if you are only doing lawn mowing or for this time of year snow plowing. I found when I finally had to say that I gave up with trying to get my cleaning done, I tried to find someone to hire. I never thought it would be so hard. My hubby did most of the calling. He asked one lady if she did dishes and she said no. Well dishes was one of the biggest things I needed done. I finally hired a Mennonite woman and by extension her whole community. If she couldn't do the job, others would come. It has been lovely and they happily do what ever you ask. So a woman or man that is a good at housecleaning most likely could find work even on a part time basis fairly easily I would think. But I know some aren't interested in cleaning someone else's toilet. I guess it comes down to how hungry you are and how much money you need and how desperately.

Some find it hard to earn money as they are already working a job, coming home to kids and housework, etc. Learning frugal habits can perhaps help more in this situation than for them to try to squeeze in another job, unless they are squeezing in working on line after the kids are in bed. Combining frugal habits AND earning more is the best of both worlds.

                            • how can i make money one line from africa?

                              • Well not by writing letters and sending them to people pretending to be a Christian widow in Nigeria (or is it Cambodia? this weeks latest she was a bit mixed up as to where she was ) and wants to give me 40 million US dollars. One of the many scams that are rampant here in the States.

Not sure how many things are geared for Africa, but if you write well, you might be able to get writing assignments, or via a very good blog of your own although I'm not sure if the affiliate programs would work for you. You will have to expend some real effort to find places and to then do what is necessary to make them make you money. No matter where you live it takes work.
