I'm curious what taxes and fees do people pay with mint or ting? I pay around $6/month a line with t mobile.

    Regulatory fee $3.49 per line
then a utility use fee $0.40
    sales tax $0.70
    911 $0.25

Is this normal? there are more fees but we pay $6/line

The taxes should be about the same for any plan (depending where you live)
You might be paying a little more than most, since I think you are in CA

I'm in PA and am paying $1.98 per month in taxes and another $2.73 monthly in surcharges.

      CA Fees (various) $1.58
      Fed Fees (various) $3.30
      911 $1.50
      Taxes $3.80

We have 5 lines, so works out to $2.04 per line.

The tax is a percentage, I think the rest are flat fees? (Or based on # of lines, versus a %). We noticed a considerable decrease in taxes/fees when we switched to Ting, because of the significant tax decrease when dropping to a much cheaper plan.

Note: Our total cell bill is generally $60 - $75, plus $10 in taxes/fees.

A reason now to really consider ting. Something we need to reconsider.
