  • t mobile cell phone deal

T-mobile in store had a deal of buy one line get one line free for $20 month including taxes and fees. It was such a good deal since we needed an extra line. We now have for $140 6 phone lines and 2 tablet lines.

Have you checked lately your cell phone plan?

Living - check the fine print. I started to sign up and saw this:

IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL YOUR PARAMOUNT+ SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE 12-MONTH PROMOTIONAL PERIOD ENDS, YOU AUTHORIZE VIACOMCBS TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD $4.99 EACH MONTH ON A RECURRING BASIS UNTIL YOU CANCEL YOUR PARAMOUNT+ SUBSCRIPTION.

Gotta watch it, they'll charge you if you don't cancel.

We've got three lines, with insurance on the three phones with one on phone payments for about $110 a month on GoogleFi. Unlimited talk & text but shared data, usually about 2 gb per month. In like 4 months we'll have paid off the last phone so it might end up less than $100.

Why are you paying insurance on a phone line?

A lot of people insure their phones, especially ones being carried by their kids. With some new phones costing over $1,000, it can get expensive if one gets broken.

My bad, I thought that was like insurance for the phone service somehow. But, when you put it that way, it makes sense.

yep, expensive phones and the insurance is only $5 a month. We keep them as long as we can and have used it to replace the phones more than once.

We used to have google fi but switched to mint mobile. Its around $15/month and 4gb of data. Fi was no longer competitive in terms of data they provided. Still rocking a pixel 3...which apparently will no longer have security updates. Ill still use it as long as I can.

That's interesting that you pay for the insurance. But then again my phone cost me $99 pixel 6. Yes I have a 2 year contract but I'm likely not switching with all the deals on the plan right now for 2 years. DH wanted the pixel 6 pro which was $400 but....I will say he just upgraded from a pixel 3 so he keeps his phones a long time.

That was likely a discounted price in exchange for you signing that 2-year contract. How much would it cost you to replace the phone if something happened to it? It's not the purchase price you'd be insuring; it's the replacement cost.

We don't insure our phones as none of us are rough on them so I don't think it's worth it, but I understand why some people do.

good point but if i lost my phone I'd do another $100 replacement like before. I'm not a huge fan of expensive phones and this is the most I've ever spent

Any Crickett wireless peeps? I'll be signing up end of June and friend referrals codes could benefit you & me (message it to me). Last year I messed up when signing up for Mint mobile when someone sent me their code but I used a different link and we both lost out on the $25 refer a friend. This time I won't mess it up.

I got my friend referral code from YouTube by searching for content on Cricket, $25 for me & $25 for the person who created the video.
