How much does health insurance cost in retirement?
Part of Hillary's healthcare plan is to add the option of medicare at age 55+. She plans to pay for it, at least partially, by negotiating lower prices with drug manufacturers.
My employer subsidizes retiree medical/dental insurance (supplemental insurance) based on the member’s years of service credit; a minimum of 10 years of service applies. For a member with 10 years of service credit the employer contributes 40 percent of the selected plan premium or 40 percent of the benchmark plan premium, whichever is less. For each year of service credit beyond 10 years, the employer contributes an additional four percent per year of the selected plan premium or four percent of the benchmark plan premium, whichever is less, up to a maximum of 100 percent for a member with 25 years of service credit. I'm currently at 13 years and if all goes well (God willing) my goal is to get to the 25 year mark or beyond.

Wow I didn't even know that was possible. Your company must be senior friendly
However, if you are just signing up for Medicare the lowest premium is 121.80
And, you pay more if you are in certain income brackets (income amounts from 2 years prior to signing up for Medicare). So, it could be even more.
