I get it, I'm so sorry the last two years were awful but I'm confident you can fix this mess. You're smart and strong enough to move forward by tracking numbers and focussing on ridding yourself of debt. I suggest using a spread sheet or poster paper & Sharpie if you prefer to list all those debts getting rid of Pay Day Loans immediately. Those are Shark Loans and eat you alive!

Subtract NEEDS from net pay...Monthly [Rent, Grocery Food, Car Ins., Cell, gas, tolls]. Next list items that have specific date deadlines like employer's loan $500. x 2, Jan/Feb/Mar and 401K loan @ $53.45 Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun. Can you tolerate some short term pain for long term gain? Put off self indulgences, restaurant/take-out, clothes, shoes, stuff etc. until taxes are paid off. Find fun things to do and rewards that are no cost, low cost community events with friends and family.

What is your income tax 2013 filing outlook? Can you run a Turbo Tax probable to see if you can foresee a refund? How much will that reduce your $ 12,000. IRS balance? What arrangement have you negotiated with IRS? I've no idea what pay back arrangement you've made with generous relatives to clear those loans. Once you get past Pay Day loans from H_ll and $ 53.45 in June, you can help relatives by making payments each and every month.

We're here to cheer you forward particularly while you slough through the next few months! It's one step at a time to balance paid in full which feels terrific!

I owe the IRS $12,000.00 and I'm paying $180.00 a month. I share an apartment with 2 other people so my rent is only $500.00. I put 5% of my salary in my 401K plan, I'm paying back my job $500.00 twice a month for 3 months for an emergency loan they gave me in Decemeber and I'm paying back my 401K plan $53.43 until June for another loan. I make $62,000.00 a year and I feel like I'm struggling everymonth. My car is paid off free and clear and my insurance is only a $118.00 a month, my cell phone is around $120.00. I took 3 paydays loans, 1 is paidoff, the other one should be paid by the end of this month and the other one I haven't touche. Any suggestions how can I get things in order so I can paid my debts and start saving money, I know that I need help....
Go pick up a copy of Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. I don't agree with everything Dave say's, especially when it comes to investing but I think that his baby steps for getting out of debt and getting back on track will help you immensely. I would also use Personal Capital instead of mint.com for tracking, its a newer website and is very user friendly, especially on the mobile apps.
