    If OP is still reading this...


    Every one of us wishes we could go back to 17 and have the advice that we're giving you today. If only we started what we are doing now at your age, we would be wealthy, comfortable, and money just wouldn't be a concern.

    But growing up in the path you're choosing, you're destined to be where far too many are, worrying about money, in debt, and wishing you started saving earlier!

    We're trying to give you advice that we would give ourselves at 17 if we could. Everyone here honestly has your best interest at heart, but like parents, sometimes you just don't want to hear it!

    I wish you the best of luck going forward, and I hope you keep learning about finances!!

    Do you listen to podcasts? I recommend some finance podcasts, MoneyplanSOS, Dave Ramsey's podcasts, Living in Financial Excellence, JW's Financial Coaching, etc.. .there are so many and they give great advice!
